A very warm welcome to our school website.
My name is Laura Turner, and I am proud to serve as Headteacher of Heene CE Primary school. It is a privilege to lead such a dedicated team of staff, who work tirelessly to provide the very best opportunities for every child in our care.
At our school, we believe that education is about far more than academic success. We strive to nurture curiosity, creativity, confidence and kindness, ensuring that each child grows into a well-rounded individual who is ready to thrive in the wider world.
We are blessed to be situated here in the heart of the central Worthing community. We have so much close by; our two churches (St Botolph's and St Matthew's) with whom we work so closely, the park opposite the school, local businesses and the beach a short walk away.
Our vision is:
‘Together in faith, we love, grow and learn’
At Heene CE Primary School, we always put kindness first. We think this is a great rule for life. Together, we create a safe, inclusive and ambitious environment where every child can achieve their full potential.
I hope this website gives you a sense of the warmth, energy and passion that make our school such a special place. Whether you are a current parent, a prospective family, or a visitor interested in learning more about us, please do not hesitate to get in touch – we would be delighted to welcome you!
With best wishes,
Laura Turner
Headteacher
